Memorial Day Weekend

This past weekend was one of my most favorite times of the year.... the beginning of summer!  We had orignially planned on going down and spending the weekend with Robert and Brooke in Fort Walton, but with all of our car problems these last few months we decided that we probably need to stay home and save money.  So we did...and the weather was terrible!  We started out our weekend by heading up to the lake on Saturday morning, the forecast said 80% chance of rain, but I was hoping that it would be a mistake...I was wrong!  It did however stop raining for a few minutes so we could play outside!  Here are some pics from those few minutes:

Sunday we did NOTHING and Monday we did NOTHING except homework and we did watch a Band of Brother's Marathon (10AM-5PM), which caused me to dream of Nazi Germany last night...hahaha...all in all it was a nice, uneventful weekend...I am looking forward to heading to Atlanta this weekend to have a pool day at my best friend Amy's pool.  Amy and her husband Alan are in the process of buying a house, so they will be moving out of the neighborhood with the pool that has brought our group of friend so many great memories.  So we are having one last pool day before they move. It should be lots of fun with my two best friends Amy and Krissy and their spouses...here are some pics from pool days past:
