Yesterday, was a very exciting day for Will, he passed his oral defense of his comprehensive exam for his Ph.D program. Which means that he is now officially ABD, which is All But Dissertation! This also means that his is now officially a DOCTORAL CANDIDATE! I am so VERY proud of him! These last 2 1/2 years have been tough on both of us, and I know he still has yet to conquer the REALLY hard part of his Ph.D...the dissertation. But I am so very proud that he has hung in there and persevered. Even in the times that he thought he couldn't do it anymore, he kept on! He is a true inspiration to me, as I work on my Ph.D course work!
I know the next few months will be tough, for both of us, as he begins writing and researching for his dissertation, but the good thing is now we can both finally see the finish line (it is WAY off in the distance, but we can at least see it now)!
I love you my Will and I am SO SO proud of you!
