This weekend I will be running my 3rd Half Marathon, the ING in Atlanta. I am SUPER excited about running this race for a number of reasons 1. I love to run (DUH!), 2. I ran this race last year (it was my first half) and it is a great course, it goes through down town Atlanta, so there is plenty to look at and 3. I want to try to beat my time from the previous two halfs (time to beat 2:03, my goal is under 2 hours). So needless to say I am pumped. The weather forecast for this weekend in Atlanta is BEAUTIFUL on Saturday and rainy in Sunday..I pray to GOD that it doesnt start raining until AFTER the race is over...that will be a LONG miserable run if its raining!
We are heading to Atlanta tomorrow afternoon to spend some time with my best friend Amy and her husband Alan (who is also running this race with me). So we are excited to spend some time with them as well and are even going to go eat at Taqueria (MY FAVORITE) on Saturday! All in all this should be a great weekend, I am just praying the rain holds off for the race! Here are some pics from last years race...I will post this years race pics on Monday!
